Just finished this today, my final for my Vector Design class. Probably the most time i've spent on any of my artwork. I'm pretty happy with the results!

hah,vector class?on which college? here in Croatia I am just finishing graphic design art college...and unfortunatley we haven't seen much practice...I definitly didn't have anything like the vector class...

this is amazing!!
i love the detail on her face :P

but i think you shouldve left the upper-right corner white, the lower-right continued with her hair, and the lower-left continued with her black shirt.
i like the body more than the background, and i think it should be more dominant in the picture. :]

Oh i wouldn't have even bothered w/ the city background if it wasn't for my instructor. O_O Yeah, art in school this semester is all about pleasing the teacher so i can keep my GPA and get scholarships for a better art school...it's sad really. But i agree, too much "city".

My school is called the Center for New Media in Michigan, and i think they've got a pretty good program going for us Illustrators. I had NO idea how to use adobe illustrator, so i feel i learned a lot in the past few monthes. Good luck to you and your schooling!
